Congratulations to Brittney & Jeffrey Sterette, who were married on 6/13/2010. This couple was a pleasure to work with and the theme of their wedding made planning and designing both interesting and educational. A beautiful garden ceremony, overlooking the National Harbor; filled with sheer fabric accompanied by long stemmed callas, a violinist and 120 friends & family sharing in this nuptial celebration.
A cocktail hour by the reflection pool, gave the guest comfort to beat the summer heat ~ that we were blessed with :)
The reception was in full swing with a jazz ensemble, that took guests back in time and the literary flowering that fostered this cultural identity was implemented throughout the design. Tables were named for famous venues of the era, place cards were accented with peacock feathers and programs, in the form of headliners instructed guests of the "venue" in which they would attend.
